Titusville, FL to Moss Point, MS

Page 2

These are pictures of our trip from Titusville, FL, where we bought the boat, to Moss Point, MS, her new homeport. I didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked because it was quite a busy trip.

This is a picture of the navigation software we used for the trip down the coast of Florida and around the keys. It is in night mode in this picture. We are now in the Gulf of Mexico in open water. The swells aren't very big, but they are very close together and approaching from our starboard quarter, so it was a pretty rolly ride. We have one reef in the main.

We only saw two or three other vessels until we got close to Pascagoula. Nancy has finally got her sea legs under her. Relaxing in the cockpit. Trawling for shrimp.

Dolphins are fascinating to watch. More dolphins. More dolphins. Our second day in the Gulf the wind died to almost nothing and we had to motor.

One of many oil-drilling platforms we saw as we approached Pascagoula. Nancy taking a snooze. Just a pretty sunset. Just a pretty sunset.

Just a pretty sunset. and a pusher barge. Just a pretty sunset. The sun rising over Pascagoula. Entering Pascagoula harbor. That's Ingalls Shipyard ahead of us.
